Commercial Distribution License

The Sambar Server is free for commercial and non-commercial use. A Commercial Distribution License is only required if you wish to distribute or resell the Sambar Server.

The Sambar Server Commercial Distribution License has the following basic outline (terms and conditions subject to change without notice):

Sambar Server V5.0 & V5.1
Royalty-free redistribution of the Sambar Server (sambar.dll, sambarcm.dll, sambardb.dll, sambarje.dll & sambarcs.dll)
$999 US

The distribution includes a key that enables the server (and search engine) to run from CD-ROM. No Pro functionality is enabled with the Commercial Distribution License key.

The complete license is must be filled out and mailed to Sambar Technologies. After executing the license agreement, a "Commercial Distribution" license key can be purchased from www.regnow.com. Contact tod@sambar.com for more details.

Note: If you are interested in distributing the original distribution (unchanged) with a book, magazine or CD-ROM, I generally do not require a commercial distribution license. Please contact tod@sambar.com for approval.
