In a Nutshell...

The Sambar Server allows individuals or companies to set up an internet presence. From a web site, to email, to instant messaging, the Sambar Server is a robust, easy-to-use, server program that you can install and have running in a few minutes. Our goal is to provide a server that a relative computer novice can install, configure and maintain.

As your needs grow, the Sambar Server expands with you, providing the ability to host multiple sites on a single server and support hundreds of users. A fully integrated search engine, email, Java support, FTP server, proxy servers, document management (versioning and synchronization) and an expansive System Administration Console are just some of the features we belive make the Sambar Server unique. Above all, our focus is on making the server's features easy to configure and manage and above all, 100% reliable.

Like our customers, we expect Sambar Server to run unattended for months at a time. Certainly, machine backup and regular monitoring of logs and hardware maintenance is recommended, but our hope is that the server will perform flawlessly in any environment.
